In 1992, Elstak created the legendary , one of the first dedicated hardcore techno labels in the world. The label became a powerhouse for the gabber movement, releasing dozens of influential records that shaped the sound of the 1990s rave scene. After a highly successful run of commercial dance hits in the mid-90s, Elstak returned to his raw roots and founded Offensive Records in 2001, where he has continued to produce uncompromising hardcore.
